Nova Dance Crew Korean pop dance group was formed to spread and share the beauty and uniqueness of the Hallyu movement. K-pop is a genre of music and performance from South Korea (started in the 1990s) that involves a variety of performing aspects: Singing, rapping, dancing, and visuals. Nova was formerly known as Vitality Dance Crew and started as a New York-based team in the summer of 2017 in July of 2019, we relocated and rebranded in CT as Nova Dance Crew to share this wave of our diverse CT community. Although we are not a Korean team nor do we have any Korean members, what’s nice about K-pop cover culture is that it is inclusive of all types of people, cultures, and backgrounds.
