Ronald “BS” Villa, was born on April 4th in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Born into a military family and had a passion for that career path. He received the nickname BS (Brigadier Special) after he joined the National Police of Haiti. Ronald was introduced to music at the age of 12 through his mother’s church. He sang in the choir and moved on to play the piano at age 18. BS was gifted his first piano/organ by the late maestro of Les Loups Noirs, Gardner Lalanne. This band inspired Ronald to find his niche in the music culture and industry. Early on, Ronald played in various konpa and zouk bands like “Feelings stars” which evolved into the band Dilam, Piwili, and Sakad. In 1992, Dilam released its first zouk album.
