The 5th Annual NICE Festival, happening in Norwalk, Connecticut on Saturday, July 10, 2021 announces another year of exceptional live performances to take place on two stages at the day-long multi-cultural event.
Honoring Norwalk International Cultural Exchange’s commitment to increasing awareness of the diversity of people from around the world through arts and culture, NICE Festival organizers have assembled a line-up of multi-cultural, celebratory experiences for all to enjoy.
This 5th staging of the event has been a long time coming. NICE is thrilled to lead in the revival of our community, in the spirit of togetherness and well-being. We are proud of our work in the celebration of all of us!
This year we are taking a step above and beyond to amplify our Asian American communities in an effort to stop the hate directed towards our AAPI neighbors. They are coming from near and far to share their beautiful cultural attributes that adds so much vibrancy to our society. Come and say hello and learn about important contributions from our Asian neighbors!
We have an amazing line-up of cultural dances and live music that will include Rhythms from the Heart, Norwalk Symphony Orchestra, Phoenix Performing Arts, Son Di Mi Tierra, Junko Fisher and the Maypole Dance led by Bill Fischer at the Child of the World Stage.
Be there because we need you to participate in Maypole Dance!
From the Main Stage enjoy Ecuadorian and Chinese traditional dance, and move to the rhythms of Bluegrass, Brazilian Samba Bossa Nova Jazz, Cuban Salsa, Caribbean Steel Pan, Indian Navratri and Reggae!
