Valentina Kozlova Dance Conservatory (VKDCNY.com) is dedicated to providing the highest level of ballet and contemporary dance instruction to both pre-Professional and primary students.
Ms. Kozlova, former Principal Dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet and New York City Ballet, and her faculty, train aspiring ballet dancers in the Vaganova Method.
The studio’s philosophy is based on traditional Russian technique, flavored with American idiom. In addition to teaching the Vaganova classical technique, VKDC the Studio strives to develop accomplished, artistic dancers who are encouraged to perform. Several of the school’s students went on to join professional dance companies, or have been recognized at major international and national dance competitions.
