Kashyap Jani is a well-known singer for the famous Hindu dance festival called Navratri. Hundreds of people dressed in colorful outfits dance for hours to the beats of his songs. For more than a decade, he has performed for various organizations to celebrate the colorful night of Navratir. In addition to singing for Navratri festivals, he has performed musical both traditional and popular songs at the Lincoln Center, New Haven green, and numerous fundraising events. His musical journey started at a tender age of 12 and he is trained in classical music by well-know musical maestros. Kashyap’s goal is to spread the music and culture of his homeland, India.
